Race Week Updates

It's almost here! The 2017 Tigertown 5000 is just days away from almost a year of planning... We are working to provide you with continual updates to make your experience the best!

1.) Race day registration opens at 7am

2.) There is EARLY PACKET PICKUP at the Dave's Running Shop in Perrysburg tomorrow night
      (Thursday) from 5-7

3.) We have new course pavement! The State of Ohio has just resurfaced St. Rt. 109 through our
      village!

4.) Yes, you can still sign up online at Runsignup.com or race morning

5.) Parking is at random... We have a new school being built and we lost a lot of spacious parking!
Watch for "event parking" signage or any spot in the village is not far from the event.
Just listen for the music and we'll get you there!

6.) To preserve our air conditioning in the awards ceremony and prize giveaway event we are asking
for "minimum" usage of the high school access! Please do your race business outside as much
      as possible!

7.) PORTOLETS... We have ample portolets for your convenience!
They are signed MEN & WOMEN

8.) THERE IS NO SHIRT REORDERS! All "race day entry" shirts are on a "first come first
      served" basis!

9.) In the event that the heat index rises from the predictions we will be spraying water from fire
hydrants in the air. It is your choice to use it or not.

10.) There will be ample water at the registration area and on the course!

11.) Our race officials will all have communication devices in the event of an emergency throughout
        the course.

12.) State Route 109 (which is part of the course...) is "live traffic with course marshals. Please be
       aware of your surroundings!

13.) EMS services will be located at the finish line area during the race.

                                                               See you all Saturday!
